Because L-ascorbic acid has a tendency to become unstable when mixed with water, this product works best when combined with an oil-based product (do not mix with water on its own). This is a very concentrated pure vitamin C powder; thus, a little goes a long way. Just 1-2 dashes of this product is all you need to add a measurable “boost” of vitamin C to your routine. Using too much of this concentrated product could cause irritation. With proper use, a single jar can last up to 1 year.
